I laughed a bit and shut my phone then grabbed a some boxers and a pair of shorts then went into the bathroom. I got in the shower and let the water beat on my back. “That was a close call.” I muttered to myself “I’m glad that when I’m Zero it changes my voice a bit.” I stood there for a bit longer then got washed up and got out. Once I got out bathroom I took my clothes and tossed them into the washer and started it. I heard a knock at the door. “I’ve got it.” I yelled so mom could hear because I didn’t know where she was in the house.
“Are you…” She started and I cut her off.
“Yes mother.” I answered and got to the door.
Miyuki was standing at the door. “It took you long enough.” She said walking in.
“Of course you can come in.” I stated shutting the door. “So what did you want to talk about?” I asked as I followed her to my room.
“Well I wanted to explain to you what happened when I caught him.” She stated and a little smirk crossed my lips.
“But you didn’t catch him.” I stated.
“Yes I did…he got away though.” She muttered the last part.
‘Obviously I’m standing right in front of you.’ I thought and sat on my bed. “So what happened?” I asked pretending not to know what happened just an hour or two ago.
“Well it almost kind of happened like the situation that you made up today at school but a little different.” She stated.
“What did you try to knock him out with your notebook?” I asked looking up at the ceiling.
“No, he was in the park not on the roof top and I poked him in the back of his shoulder with a stick.” She smiled triumphantly.
“I’m guessing your little stick did nothing against him though.” I added.
“No he pinned me against the tree that he was leaning on then he whispered in my ear…” she trailed off.
“You’re a sexy beasty.” I randomly lied knowing what I said but I just wanted to see Miyuki go mad red because she always deny’s it.
“NO HE DID NOT SAY THAT!!!” And just as I thought her face went beat red and I laughed.
“He said he would keep an eye on me. I don’t know how I feel about that.” She stated
“I say don’t worry about it. If anything you’ll never meet him again.” I answered. ‘Well I’ll try not to meet you again as Zero. I’m not promising my self that though because once she’s determined about something you can’t stop her.’ I thought.
“Yeah, yeah I get that, but there was something about him that I was really drawn to.” She said.
“Maybe it was his body.” I suggested again and laughed a bit about it. It’s fun goofing around with her.
“Well it certainly helped, but it was like there was something else. I can’t explain it. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still bad and I wanna catch him thought.”
“What if he smooth talks you into letting him go? I can’t believe you didn’t deny that it was his body this time. You did earlier over the phone.” I smiled at her.
“Can you blame me? I can’t lie when I’m in front of you, you know that.” She answered.
“Yea, I know. So did you get your homework done? “ I asked.
“I didn’t have any thank you very much. I finished it earlier!” She said with a cocky tone.
“So I like doing things at home.” I shrugged.
“Good I’m glad.” She said running and hopping on my bed.
She bounced me about a foot off my bed. And considering that I was on the edge of the bed I fell off. “Ow.”
“You light weight.” She said.
“Sorry, let me go to the gym and lift weights for you so I completely refine what muscles that I have.” I groaned and sat up off the ground.
“You could maybe start to look like Zero. I’m kidding, I’m kidding don’t hurt me!” She said putting her hands up in front of her.
I got on the bed and lightly punched her in the arm. “It’s fine, don’t worry about it.”
“Aw come on, this is the part where you tackle me! You’re no fun.” She pouted.
“Fine then.” I hugged her and pinned her to the bed.
“You know,” She laughed “My mom thinks we should date.” She said.
“Well that’s your moms opinion. It’s your life you should be able to make your own decisions.”
“I just thought it was kind of funny was all…” She said and looked away from me.
I laid across her stomach “Night.” I said and just laid there so she couldn’t move.
“Hey now! It’s the girl that’s supposed to do that.” She stated messing up my hair.
We heard a knock on my door and both looked over.
“Miyuki your parents just called they want you home.” My dad said.
“Oh hey dad.” I said getting off of Miyuki.
“Ok, I’ll leave in a few minuets.” She said and he left.
“Do you want me to walk you home?” I asked.
“No, it’s okay, you’re already in your um can I call that pajamas?” She asked.
I looked down at my shorts then shrugged “It’s comfortable.” I answered and she laughed a little.
“I’ll see you tomorrow then.” She said and started out of my room.
“Hey the least I can do is walk you to the door.” I stated and walked her out to the door.
She got on her shoes “Okay now it’s see you tomorrow.” She laughed and opened the door.
“Yep see ya.” I waved and she closed the door behind her.
I ran to the living room where my mom and dad were watching tv. “Mom dad can I please, please, please just once be a creeper and scare Miyuki please?” I asked.
“Why?” My mom asked confused.
“She jumped on my bed and I fell off so it’s kind of pay back. I won’t be gone long please?” I begged.
“Fine.” My dad sighed.
“Yes, thank you.” I said and ran out of the room.
I got into a pair of jeans and just grabbed one of my button up shirt that was sitting on the pile of clothes that I still had to put away. “Bye mom, bye dad.”
“Be back in a half an hour.” My dad yelled as I got my shoes on.
“I will, I promise.” I said and shut the door then ran in the direction of her house.
I caught her walking and I hid behind a tree. I changed into Zero and sped a couple of trees ahead. She didn’t seem to notice. So I leaned up against the tree and waited for her to pass by. “Hey.” I said and it seemed like she jumped 10 feet in the air I scared her so much. I laughed a bit but stayed where I was leaning against the tree.
“I-It’s you? B-but how did you…” I cut her off.
“I was wondering around and I spotted you. I told you I was going to keep an eye on you didn’t eye. But I didn’t think that we would meet twice in one night.” I lied.
“You look like a fricken’ creeper standing by the tree.” She commented.
I pushed off the tree and I walked towards her. “Can you guess what the next thing I’m going to steal is?” I asked and walked around her.
“A very expensive portrait.” She glared at me.
“No…” I said and stopped behind her. “Your name, I want to know it.” I whispered in her ear. She swung her arm back and I caught it. “So what is it?” I asked.
“Like I’m going to tell you.” She glared at me.
“So even if some of my buttons slipped…” I smirked and took my free hand and undid a couple of the buttons and her face turned a shade of pink. “So are you going to tell me your name?” I asked.
“No way!” She said shaking her head.
I walked around her and put my free arm around her “Come on, just tell my your name.” I whispered lightly in her ear. She tensed up under me a bit.
“Fine then, how about we play the guessing game.” I offered letting go of her hand and waist then walked out in front of her. I could tell she loosened up a bit when I let her go. “How about M is my first letter.” I said.
“Yes an m is in my name.” She said.
“Now can I pick a vowel?” I asked.
“Why?” she blinked.
“Well fine then I’ll just guess two. I and U and sometimes Y.” I said and her eyes grew. Oh how it was fun picking on her. “Then last letter hum…it doesn’t seem like with the letter I picked it would be another of the vowels and I don’t think that it’s in the last half of the alphabet…” I walked around her a few times then stopped in front of her again. “I got it Miyuki.” I said snapping my fingers.
She stumbled back a little like someone switched her gravity switch off for a second. “D-do I know you?” She asked.
“No, but I’ve seen you with your friend, the one that has blonde hair and he said your name and earlier I put the name with the face because I remembered you mostly. The blonde hair is all I remember about your friend.” I lied waving my hand. “Well I should get going, see yea.” I winked at her and ran off. I changed back to normal and was laughing when I walked into the house. “Okay I’m satisfied with my pay back for her beating me up all day.” I sighed and took off my shoes then went into my rooms. My parents were already in bed so I just went back down to my shorts and turned on my alarm and went to bed.
