What is going on

-Takumi-

“NOOOOO!” I screamed and kicked the glass so hard that the entire box that was holding my tipped over and shattered along the ground. I could feel some of the glass pierce my skin but I didn’t care at the moment all I wanted to do was help Mai.” They pushed her off and she started falling. I pushed off the ground and caught her about half way to the ground.

“T-Takumi.” She said surprised.

“I’ll never let you go.” I told her.

She started crying. I felt something hit me in the back and I instantly started falling towards the floor and I put myself between Mai and the ground and I landed on the glass. I couldn’t move my body.

“Well, well I guess our little bird can be taking out with a tranquilizer.” The women said and then they fired at us. None of the bullets hit us though but it shattered right away and I was able to move my body fast enough to flip over while in a lot of pain. The bullets hit me in the shoulder blades and I landed on Mai and started to cough up blood.

“Takumi no!” Mai said.

I felt funny but not to the point where it felt like I was going to die, it felt like something was trying to take over. I didn’t have the strength to hold back whatever it was. I started laughing a bit and managed to slowly get up off of Mai. “Did you think that a couple of bullets and a tranquilizer dart could keep me down?” I smiled wildly at the women.

“Takumi? You’re hut bad. Be careful.” Mai said.

“Well this is new.” The women smiled.

“How would you like to experience some of the pain that you put us through?” I asked glaring at her. I could feel the blood dripping off of my fingers I went after her anyways and just as I thought some people go between us. I dodged their attacks with ease and reached out for the women and slammed her up against the closest wall “If you ever hurt Mai again I promise I will kill you.” I threatened and dropped her to the ground.

“Takumi please stop…” Mai begged.

I felt my body pulse and I hit the ground and everything was fuzzy and my body felt heavy.

“Oh, no…” I heard Mai say and my eyelids were heavy and I just wanted to sleep.

“Please no, don’t leave me here. Please don’t die angel…” Mai cried and I felt a smirk slowly spread across my lips.

“I…won’t die.” I told her.

“Leave us alone, what do you want from us? Just let us go!” She screamed at the lady.

“You’ll find out in time. For now just sleep.” She told us and I could smell something strange in the air and I fell asleep.
