And since it's going to be a little long, I'm going to separate it by topics.
Band: All our bands got straight I's at state (for those who don't know, I is the best score you can get), which is pretty dang impressive. So I'm excited about that. ^^
The jazz band had their final concert a few weeks ago. I finally decided to solo for the first time, which I think I did pretty decent at. I'm a little sad I couldn't do it sooner, but I'm glad I got to do it near the end. Ninja managed to get three solos, which is impressive, even for him.
And our concert bands had our final concert a couple weeks ago, too. This "pops" concert's theme was cowboy themed, so we played songs like Silverado, which was pretty cool. ^^
We played together for the last time yesterday. I'm going to miss this band. It may be the last time I play in the same band as any of my high school friends, though I hope that isn't the case. ^^'
School: I took 3 AP tests. I don't know if I passed my AB Calc test, but I'm pretty certain I passed my Language and Literature tests - I'm hoping for a 4 or a 5 for both.
And as the school year closes, you'd think you wouldn't have so much homework. NOPE. I've been getting a lot of projects to finish - I still have one last one T.T
My grades are a little lower than I hoped they'd be. :/ Ah, well.
And I'm kind of excited, but kind of terrified of college. I'm excited to finally start it, but I'm terrified that I won't get the classes I want (esp. Japanese 1010, I really want that class), and I'm terrified the classes I do take will be crazy hard and that I won't be able to pass them with good grades. :/
Graduation: Nope. I'm in denial. It's not happening. I'm not graduating in 5 days. It's not happening.
...But if it was, I'd have an Arts & Communications merit chord for it. ^^ And I'd be excited for the all-night party.
...If ya know what I mean.
Ninja: Nothing very new is happening. I do plan on snagging one more date before he goes on his LDS mission (which, for those who don't know, means that he and will only be able to communicate through snail mail and email once a week).
Anime: I've been trying to push through FMA:B about as fast as I can. After that I'll probably catch up with Assassination Classroom and Hibike! Euphonium, then spend some time watching Detective Conan. ^^'
Other stuff: I'm been half-bakedly attempting to get my first job (meaning I've only filled out one application). I almost really don't want to get a job, but I know I need the money for college. *groans*
I took my first driver's test and... failed. I'll be taking it again in a week in a half. Wish me luck. ^^'
TL;DR: The end of the year has been pretty fun. ^^' But I know I'm going to miss all my friends. I'm both excited and terrified for the future, for various reasons.
