Deck Videos: Eyes-Restrict

In response to my post from a few days ago about maybe posting deck videos in this work, Creshendeath requested videos on Relinquished/Eyes-Restrict decks and hybrid decks that make use of cards from the Lair of Darkness structure deck. Since Relinquished is an old favorite of mine from the original series, I thought I'd start with videos for that type of deck first. Here are the top videos on the subject from YouTube, beginning with the most recent.

I think you all pretty much get the idea at this point. These deck videos tend to get a little bit repetitive, so I'll probably only do two or three videos in each post. For those of you reading who might've had interest in building this type of deck, I hope this has given you a few ideas. I will say that the use of Super Polymerization in the first video was kind of a brilliant idea, though it should only be used to summon Millennium-Eyes Restrict when the opponent has at least two monsters on the field, because you'll need something for Millennium-Eyes to absorb once he's been summoned. I also never would've thought of using that damn Fusion Parasite in the deck, and I grudgingly have to admit that it's a pretty good idea. Of course that wretched bug is one of the things that's sort of turned me against Fusion Monsters in general. I mean who doesn't hate Fusion Parasite after what happened to the Bracelet Girls during the final season of ARC-V?

Getting back to my main point though, I will say that the Kaiju monsters are definitely a must for this type of deck. The main weakness of a Relinquished/Eyes Restrict deck is that it kind of relies a lot on what the opponent does. In order to be truly effective, Relinquished and its Fusions need a strong monster to absorb, and the Kaiju monsters give them the perfect target. In other words, the Kaiju combat that weakness a bit. As for what Kaiju monsters to use in the deck, I think a lot of that depends on personal preference, but the ones shown in the above videos are probably the go-to picks for most players.

I think that about covers it for this post. To Creshendeath, I'll try and get some Lair of Darkness videos up for you here in the next few days. I mainly went with these videos first because I get this feeling that the other videos might be a little harder to find.
