Decades of Anime May Not Get Colored

Lasy year, I mentioned that I wanted to do Decades of Anime, a fan art series covering the past five decades of anime history. Well I forgot to mention that although I wanted to color it on GIMP after completing the outline, I could not get it done in time for submission for art gallery showing at Otakuthon 2013 (which already hapened in mid-August) because my computer was experiencing problems that needed to be repaired at a store. On a more problematic note, although I am planning to show each installment here at theOtaku.com and deviantART, with a busy schedule of obligations in my life to start take placing soon, there is a chance I may not find the time to work on a colored version per installment (or at least during the time being). So in this case, if I do the colored versions, cool. But if not, then I hope you'll forgive me and enjoy the work as it will appear. Also, I will be adding "(contemporary)" to the title of this fan art series since it will cover from the 1960s (when the 1st Astro Boy anime T.V. series, the 1st of the contemporary anime type, premiered) to the 2000s as opposed to all of history of anime from the late 1910s to 2000s

Anime Divas Survey Needs a Round 3

After checking the results in the Anime Divas round 2 I was running until Tuesday, I now confirm that Angewomon (from Digimon Adventure), Hikari (from Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl), Zakuro Fujiwara/Mew Zakuro (from Tokyo Mew Mew), and Lacus Clyne (from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED) will be included in the "Anime Divas" 18-skecth card series, which is intended for art gallery showing at Otakuthon 2012 as well as to be sold as a set during the event itself (this will be on art gallery sale at a first-come, first-served basis. However, due to a tie in one of the sections the round 2 survey, I am now left with one out of installments of the sketch card series to decide for.

So today, I post up a round 3 survey, where you, the voluntary survey participants, vote on which anime gal candidate you think I should include for the last installment. The battle is Bulma (from Dragon Ball) Vs. Merle (from Vision of Escaflowne) Vs. Chun-Li (from Street Fighter II: The Movie). This survey will be up until July 1 as I want to finish up the whole series before submitting it to the Otakuthon website for approval no later than July 22.

Update! The Anime Divas Round 3 survey is now closed.
